Mr. Daniel Duane is our firm’s International Practice Coordinator. Prior to joining Fongs, Mr. Duane practiced corporate and commercial law, as a Registered Foreign Lawyer (New York), at a prominent Hong Kong firm for over four years. Before that he worked as a U.S. diplomat, for approximately ten years, with postings in Manila, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Johannesburg and Washington, D.C.
Prior to his diplomatic service, Mr. Duane worked as an attorney with the U.S. law firm of Latham & Watkins for several years, in their New York and Tokyo offices, where he focused primarily on capital markets and corporate finance matters.
Mr. Duane was born and grew up in California, and received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and his law degree (J.D.) from the University of California at Berkeley’s School of Law.
