Cross-Border Legal Services and China Economic Development Forum & Celebration for the launch of the first Joint Venture between law firms from China, Hong Kong and Macau

We are pleased to announce that we have recently set up a Joint Venture law firm—ZLF Law Firm (“JV”) with Zhong Yin Law Firm (“Zhong Yin”) and Rato, Ling, Lei & Cortes (“Rato”). The JV was established in Hengqin free trade zone, Zhuhai on 8th January 2016.

This JV law firm is the first Joint Venture of law firms comprising law firms from China, Hong Kong and Macau. The main objective of the JV law firm is to become a one-stop legal service provider for clients in Hong Kong, mainland China and around the world and those that are especially in the fields of cross-border investment, commerce and finance. This is fundamental to support the Silk Road Economic Belt, 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road and Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, and to facilitate the liberalization of trading system between China and Hong Kong.

To celebrate, we held a lunch banquet on 29th April 2016. At the event, we were pleased to invite Mr. Wang Zhenmin, the Director-General of the Department of Law of Liaison Office of The Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., Mrs. Choi, the Chairman of National Resources Securities Limited, Mr. Jojo Choi, the Vice-Chairman of National Resources Securities Limited, Dr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, Mr. Kwong Dak Shing, the Executive Committee Member of the Chinese Gold & Siler Exchange Society, Mr. Alan Nam, the Deputy Director of Asia Tele-Net and Technology Corporation Limited and Dr. Ray Sze, the President of China’s Elites Association Limited.

Mr. Wang Zhenmin, the Director-General of the Department of Law of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., delivered a speech on the event.
