Governor of Guangdong Province Ma Xingrui Visits Our Joint-Venture Firm

As the first Chinese joint-venture law firm bringing together firms from Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau in which Fongs was a founding partner, the ZLF Law Office was established under the CEPA framework in Hengqin Free Trade Zone. It was our honour to be visited and guided by Governor of Guangdong Province Ma Xingrui and other officials.

Governor Ma has worked in the education and information system sector for long periods of time. In 2008, with the success of the Shenzhou VII manned space mission, his position as the ‘Aerospace Young Marshal’ was firmly established. Under his leadership, Shenzhou VIII, Shenzhou IX and Shenzhou X were launched with success. Since March 2016, Governor Ma held a concurrent post as the Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Shenzhen, and he is the first full member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, who serves as the Secretary of Municipal Party Committee concurrently in history of Shenzhen.

In the past year, ZLF Law Office has provided legal services, including financing, cross-border litigation, cross-border arbitration and overseas acquisition (averaging at around 1 billion), to all kinds of financial institutions, private enterprises and large-scale state-owned enterprises.
